Actually really like the profile of April fool item, I have rear seats removed and use as a two seat minivan

FOOLISH of me not to have realised! Actually, it does look really good! AND, it wouldn't be impossible to achieve! I remember in the 1960's it was the rage to chop-down the roof's of cars and alter areas of the bodywork. There was even a magazine "custom car"!

Hi David, yes Custom Car and Street Machine magazine were my equivalent of newspapers.
As for the three door concept. Yes it is possible but there really should be some kind of advantage or improvement involved when you customise a car. Just not being able to get into the back seats doesn't quite work as an improvement. :D

Now if the front door was extended and the glass and interior panels and seat belt mounts were moved back / redesigned and some kind of forward folding option designed into the front seat backs. Then that would be a proper three door and the different appearance from the side would look interesting. But welding up the doors and filling the gaps would not work , especially for the rear passengers.
But novel ideas are always welcome, especially in 1st April.

It would make a great small van! Alu up where the rear windows are.

How cool would it be being the only person driving a Audi Van about! Genuine Audi roof bars on top too.

If i could Alu weld, i would do something like this.

I used to be an avid reader of CC too, some great specials and often wonder what happened to many of them. I particularly recall a chopped Avenger (don't laugh, I was in my teens) which looked very American muscle car in scaled down form.

For those that missed it, see the post about my old showrooms back in the late 80s?

Lots of Custom cars were sold by us from there.
