Quite possibly, However the pile on these is more of an "upright" pile rather than a "curly" pile, so It should make hoovering/cleaning them much easier!
 
Having been to see Al and the mats today, I can thoroughly recommend them - the quality is very good indeed.

Proper VAG clip points to suit the A2, rubberised backing, thick pile and tough edging make for a great looking mat that will look great in your A2.

The black is very black, the light grey is suitable for cars with Platinum interiors, the dark grey is more suited to those with the darker interiors. There's a very vibrant yellow and a lush red, together with a nice dark blue, which would go well with anyone with blue leather.

Al will be posting photos of the sample set next week and I think you;ll all be pleasantly surprised with them.

Hmm ok then....so now need to think about black mats with yellow trim, or yellow mats with black trim...hmm decisions decisions :)

Light Grey (or Elephant Grey as I call it)
Medium Grey

Im signed up for a set. Will use them in the summer time and store the rubber ones. I'll take the colour thats as close to the original grey carpet as possible. Not sure of the name or code I'll take advice on that? If possible I'll have light grey or silver binding on the edge as this will go with my 2 tone leather retrim plans for the future. Sounds a good product and a nice addition for club enthusiasts cars. :D

When Mike was in on Friday, I think he pointed out the Medium grey as being the closest match to the original carpet. Should work very nice with the silver'ish edge trim ! :)

If folks hang on a few days, there'll be an item link on Awesomes site, where you can purchase directly, using their secure servers.

Also, Al is hoping to have a proper sample set in stock for very early this week at which point I'll pop over again and install them in Tank, so you can see what they look like 'in situ'.

A2oc embroidered floor mats

As long as the A2OC graphics are discrete in their placement
on the actual mat then count me in for a set of grey ones
with Blue edge binding.
 
Fingers crossed I should have the sample set plus the set for Drakey70 on wednesday!

Mike has kindly said he'd pop in so that we can slip a set in his car and get some "In Situe" photos to give you guys a much better idea of how they will look!

Obviously Black with a hint of red if there going in Mikes Car ...:)

I Would love a set of these but times are hard at the moment so will have to wait till after xmas ......
I Think they will look really nice looking forward to seeing some pics ....
 
Hi Guys!

Just a quick update on where we are with the mats!

We've just received a photo of the Logo as it will be on the mats. The quality is a little off as my computer isn't letting me use photoshop at the moment (Darn MS Paint), but here goes nothing:
