Aftermarket Alarms

Still interested to hear if anyone has fitted an aftermarket system to their A2. My local shop says it's a nightmere to do and isn't too keen.

I spent the weekend finishing off my own little system. I wanted to know how anyone or if anyone had managed to tap into the Audi system, especially in respect to the remote.

Anyway I got my pager alarm system fitted and it works a treat, gives me a range of about 500m so I know if anyone is too close to the car, hit it, or set off any of the Audi alarm system..

Aerial is hidden inside the rear window and the pager is smaller than a packet of ciggies..

I feel a lot safer leaving the car now..
