Anyone else entertaining buying 2nd A2?

I think it would be fun to have one regular car and another driverless one. Like when you want to have a ride you take your car and enjoy the road etc. And if you just need to commute or pressed on time and have some work to do you get into the self driving vehicle. They say BMW, Ford, General Motors, Toyota and Volkswagen promise to introduce self-driving cars to the market by 2020–2021 https://tranio.com/world/spotlight I've never heard anything about Audi though. Do you know anything?

We were thinking of buying a second TDI for when our 17 year old son passes his driving test but getting affordable insurance for any car with an engine capacity above 998 CC is proving to be a real struggle.

We were quoted an extra £1700 to add him as a named driver on my insurance for the A2.

He would be better off "financially" if he had a Citroen C1 :( or a Peugeot 107 :eek:and insured it in his name with myself as a named driver.

Shame really as he likes our little A2 TDI.

Yes, recently bought a 2005 TDI (75) sibling to join our long term 2003 FSI Sport which will hopefully hit the road in time to benefit from the winter rubber it's wearing.

I'm still trying to find my first A2 (TDi), but if my record with Peugeot 205 GTis is anything to go by, it's almost inevitable that there will be multiple problems on the driveway!
