after buying my A2 1.4 tdi in April i finally got my volvo v70-r sold 3 weeks ago and now have the A2 on the road, and i love it, it goes forever and hardly uses any fuel, i put it in to a local Audi/vw specialist and had the timing belt and water pump done and they also fitted a new fan belt and done an oil & filter change.its an amazing little car ;O)

I was due to go to a meeting in Birmingham today. On Tuesday my 06 Passat TDi work car blew it's DMF. Turns out it wasn't the DMF at all..............it was the gearbox bearings. A nice £2k invoice on it's way. 06 plate 60k on the clock and full VWSH. VW in Milton Keynes were crying with laughter when I spoke to them about a good will gesture......"Compoota sayz nah"
Anyway, the purpose of my message. Still had to go to Birmingham for my meeting. Up steps the wife's school bus (04 TDi SE). What a great car. It's the first time I have done more than 40 miles in it in one go. 330 mile round trip, just purred along, DIS showed an average of 64mpg. I am 6' 1" and 18 stone and I got home tonight still comfortable. It was even perfect for a gentle recline in the seat and a nice 15 minute doze at Warwick services.
Like you I was very impressed with the little car.

I am considering having mine wrapped in carbon fiber , don't know yet , any opinions ?
