Audi A2 EV Conversion

The guy in Italy? I'm at work so can't view the vids...

If it's him, then yeah. I watched the full 10 videos he posted up. Seemed very successful too. There is a German company that does conversions too, I believe.
 
there are several German companies doing conversions. Go ask over on the German forum, there's one guy there (A2EV) specializing. You can get kits for around €10k IIRC.

For me, this is what I'd do if we moved out of the town centre. €1.60 per 100km is a hell of a statement... it's around 1/6th of my present costs.

I'm not sure if the Italian conversion eventually gate it full function. I know there is an old passat that was converted in the US, which also has an electric A/C pump and heater ...etc. But the A2 should be a great platform to do EV conversion.

His work is tidy (just look at the cabling in the boot!) and it has air con, speedo, everything! Given our A2 is of similar age to his passat and common electronics, it should be a carbon copy!
