Yes, that is a fair comment. She has high octane fuel in her veins and her enthusiasm for everything car related is needed.

She doesn't have to present anything she just has to have fun, as she normally does and its infectuous.

It makes a change to have female presenters who are not just there as eye candy. She is on the program because of her enthusiasm and driving skills and not a "token female" (I hate that term).

As for Chris Harris, he would be my first choice anyway!

I will watch the first episode with interest and with my fingers crossed that it makes me want to watch episode 2 (and so on).

Yes, seriously; I'm a Luddite; I've only had a television for about 6 years and I don't have a computer; everything I post here is from a telephone! As a result, I don't really watch much on You Tube. Of course I know who Eddie Jordan and Sabine Schmidt are...

Now you have mentioned Autocar, Chris Harris does ring a bell now.

Still don't know who all the others are though! :D
 
I preferred Tiff Needell and Quentin Wilson to Richard Hammond and Clarkson. James may is still laconically entertaining.

Chris Evans is definitely not my favourite host and I have seen (briefly) The Big Breakfast, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush and TFI Friday and have never been impressed with his presenting abilities. He is like a revamped Noel Edmonds, and I liked the Multi Coloured Swop Shop.

I would have rather they had bunch of comedians alternately hosting the show. Oh well, one less show to watch on Catch Up.
