Even more evidence to convince me the JDD is the box to get

So how does the 3L box compare to the standard 75TDi gearset then? Interesting to compare if you consider the 3L has longer gearing as well as less power/torque? Ok it's got even less weight to lug around, but still!
Your easily impressed! My estimation of the DVLA has just gone up!
on my V5 it says my TDi is 1200 KG?
...3.2L - all options except alarm, opensky, towbar, navigation, leather, 3 rear seats, heated front seats, lumbar support, rear power windows, cruise, multibox, Bose & multichanger.
...
Audi figures are always quoted 'dry' where as industry standard is to quote with fluids, a percentage of the fuel tank (90% from memory) and a 75kg driver - I believe a typical figure is the one quoted in the price lists available on this site, from memory the TDI 75 SE is about 1150kg and climate alone adds nearly 30kg. I'm sure mine is 1183kg.
I think it's an iPhone...
What is that cool digital board you have in the middle? Nvr seen int before in a A2, retrofitted? But from which audi model cause the 1,2L DIS didnt look like that on my precious 1,2L.
Im interested.
So you could conceive that a remapped TDi with a JDD gearbox will drive and perform fairly similarly then to the 1.2TDi, given that the former is about 250kg heavier?
OK, the weight in service on my CoC/V5 is 1020kg, Dan's is 1200kg. 45kw/1020kg is 0.044, 55kw/1200kg is 0.045 so the 1.4tdi still has a (slightly) better power to weight ratio. But if you put the same load in both vehicles, the 1.4tdi will have an even better p/w ratio.
