You keep forgetting the £5k that the government will give you towards this !!!

So surely you can afford £35K ? LOL

I must admit that you are very right about the i3 and I was (am?) very tempted !!!
Mainly after seeing your enthusiasm for it.
Then I saw one in the flesh and could see so much of the A2 in it!!!

But I would have had to spend additional £10 to 15K on top of what I have spent on "the project", to be able to afford an i3
Now THAT is a scary calculation!!!!!

To be honest, it was something I considered long and hard, but the thing that swung it was the good old saying "anyone can buy one if they have the money, but the "Project" has to be built and is going to be unique (ish).

Constant use of quick charging depletes the life of any battery so your friend needs to be careful.

He is not using it all the time as the quick charge stations are so far only a few around the city. He uses it when in urge of a quick boost.

No, I'd have to get finance to buy it and I've never bought a car with a loan before - I hate borrowing money - so I don't intend to start now. Will just have to keep the A2 for a while longer and earn more!
