Thanks! Will do.You could do worse than getting in touch with B&F Autos out in West Hounslow. Cracking good A2 people who don't charge silly money.
It is not as simple as it seems as there are quite a few different ones, but they have just managed to repair mine.
Talk to Gary or John.
Hello! 1.4 SE and 2001 ... thanks! Can you advise which motor your car has and which year your car is - the oil dipstick is a different part for diesel and petrol engines, and also the part varies with the year. Best of luck!
Thank you -- very helpful indeed.oil container; oil dipstick Audi A2 (A2) 2001 year Audi EUROPA 115045

There is an early and a late part for the AUA motor - see the chassis number codes cited for part 5 and then compare with your car's chassis number.
From memory the difference between early and late is that late ones have a v-shaped notch that locates in the housing to orient the dipstick correctly, the early ones are circular in section with a corresponding plastic piece that locates them.
- if you can show a photo of the handle of the dipstick with this withdrawn from the car it will help (for the moulding shape above). The part number for the dipstick is moulded into the handle as well, so that could indicate which one you are looking for. The last letter of the part code is the important one.
Thanks, will do.Afternoon,
Your best bet would be to upgrade your account to obtain Market Access. Once complete you can start a Wanted thread where member ms will step forward with their offerings.
