cccu unit issue

When i swapped mine over i disconected the battery just to be safe, and as youv got the matching fob yes it is just plug and play


But you need to keep the front section of the original fob (the one with the key blade in).
That contains the immobiliser chip.

Then when you have plugged in the new CCCU and reconnected the battery, put the key (with the old key half and the "new" fob half with the buttons on) in the ignition and turn on, with the igniton on press the unlock button on the key and switch off and try it. It should work.

If it does not, you may need to have it matched via VCDS but that is unlikely.
