Hi - looking for some advice.
The problem is the coolant temp gauge stopped giving a reading - it used to stay at 90C with no issue.
A common problem and I've read the existing threads suggesting temp sender and thermostat and checking that fan works with climate etc - thanks for the pointers.
I've only changed the sensor for an after-market one and the reading hasn't changed. Coolant hoses warm to radiator suggesting thermostat working.
I plugged in diagnostics and found the following:
Any ideas where to look next? Any prompts appreciated!! thanks

I plugged in diagnostics and found the following:
- I can see two temp readings - I guess one for gauge and one for ECU. They are a degree different at times, but I do get a reading that plateaus at 60C and then rises (test at idle)
- When the temp on diagnostics reaches 100C the engine fan kicks in to start cooling and shuts off when cooled to around 98C
- The temp gauge on the dash reads 30C below the value on diagnostics - so at 100C the gauge shows 70C
Any ideas where to look next? Any prompts appreciated!! thanks
