Cruise control retrofit not working

Hey guys, can somebody maybe help me.

I have one of my friend's car here which is a 2005 AMF. I retrofitted a Cruise control, enabled it but its not working.

I checked measuement block 22 and 6. I can see if brake, or clutch peressed. I can see that the Cruise control enabled, I see if I press resume or set (which disable cc )

Cannot see if I press the big button on the side of the stalk. Thats the only thing I dont see change anything when Presser, everything else is visible.

There was only pins in the ECU connector so I installed the cables. On ecu pin 14 there is the enabled Cruise control, from clutch switch I gave 12v, everything is correct in the pins. Tried different stalk which 100% working but cannot press set to keep speed.

Any ideas what should I check? Thanks

I think post #4 in this thread will help:

what stalk did you use? There are a lot online that feature poor quality ribbon connectors for the switch that get pinched by movement of the indicator arm - causing malfunction of the switch. I bought one and had this exact problem. Eventually I was lucky that @timmus was coming to my part of the country and he fitted an original part with a robust taped loom component instead - and it has worked without problem for nearly 4 years and 30,000 miles now.

Turns out the engine is BHC, but its the same. I checked that part of the forum, but no success. Everything is in order. But what is controller 1? That part is not really clear. What is Strange for me that ín mes blocks its really states the vcds the Cruise control. But in the binary code the CC is active.

Is it possible that the ECU was remapped and thats the reason I cannot set it and see it properly?

No idea if it's normal with the BHC engine, (but I'd think not), your VCDS screen shot shows "REDIR FAIL!" as the lbl file name, but I think there is a BHC engine lbl file. So VCDS isn't recognising your ECU.
