I appreciate the feedback Chris and if the threads descends into a farce it will be locked, posts may be deleted but the point is we want it to be open. The forum has been accused of hiding and allegiance to certain users and that is not the case.

With regards to whether this thread is helpful to new or old members, I beg to differ. Whilst the forum and certain members have seen their names tarnished on another medium without a chance of rebuttal or say this thread allows people the opportunity to see for themselves why things have descended into such a last resort issue such as this. It gives us no pleasure for this to be in the open however we don't rule the forums with an iron fist, users can read both sides of the story and form an opinion. We're all mature adults afterall, we're not so petty to may inuendos or accusations in the form of silly cartoons.

Regards

I too am glad this has been aired. It saddens me that such infantile behaviour on the part of certain members causes a rippling effect across the club. And I am all too happy for things to be out in the open so I can make my own judgement based on the evidence presented.

This is precisely the reaction those members responsible for the bullying would have hoped for. Infect something good with a little evil and watch it mutate and spread until the host is consumed.

Now I've only been a member for a couple of years, but can see with my own eyes who is actually putting a lot of effort into the information available on the forum. Instead of forming some nefarious splinter group of A2 followers, I believe it is far better to pool resources in a central location.

As I have also said in another post, actions speak louder than words. I can usually size someone up fairly quickly in terms of their integrity and honesty, but often allow for the benefit of the doubt in cases where I'm not sure. All the work, and I do mean all, completed by Timmus and WOM Automotive (separate entities) has been completed to the highest standards - I wouldn't even get that kind of service from a dealer or anyone else that I have come across to date. As to A2 Cars, I received poor customer service, so went elsewhere - I was even charged for things that had been insinuated as free. There were other problems too, but instead of ranting, I just quietly sought out advice from other members and made a decision as to who to trust with future repairs. I was extremely careful not to let other members of the forum know my thoughts because we all have 'off' days and perhaps that was one of them at A2 Cars - it's their livelihood, and I supposed that mine was an isolated case. Either way, I made a decision based on how I was treated and went elsewhere. End of.

To drag things up time and time again, especially on a public forum, where most people don't have a clue what has been said, done etc. is a colossal waste of everyone's time. It also only serves to do damage rather than reconcile.

Paul (Redbull): I haven't met you, but please do try and give a measured response to the statements in this post. No one is out to 'get' you either. Also, I would really like for you to go through Tom's initial post and quantify your reason(s) for initiating this distrust, and what appears to me to be a hate campaign. Your behaviour so far smacks of vindictiveness and distrust, yet your response is a smug one-liner that seems to imply what Tom has said is true. Without a reasoned response, you leave no other conclusions to be made. Please also confirm who it is you are talking about in the Facebook post (happy to have it in a PM).

Tony (Hotstuff): A2 Cars owner & director, please do confirm that was not you who wrote those words in the extract provided by Timmus in the initial posting. I only met you and your wife a couple of times, but still refuse to believe someone would stoop to such language, especially in a publicly view-able written form. It is grossly unprofessional and coarse to say the least. And to suggest that you would have 'dropped' someone in the situation being discussed is utterly incredulous. I implore you, from the bottom of my heart, to cease these sorts of remarks and actually contribute something positive to the forum - I'm certain you have a wealth of knowledge that everyone could benefit from.

Let's move past this and continue in A2 ownership as one happy family again. A quote that I have often liked is that "the right thing to do is usually the hardest". It can be done, the situation can be resolved, but are any of the perpetrators up to the task? It's all too easy to attack someone, or to jump on the bandwagon and join in, but when it comes to conflict resolution few can stand the heat. So come on, kiss and make up, and let's go back to playing with our A2s!

I agree for the owner of a supposedly reputable company to openly say on facebook that he would DROP someone can only help to discredit your worth as a business owner, certainly someone I don't want working on my car.

Yeah, agreed. Absolutely, someone to steer clear of..

Totally agree - sickening attitude and awful disrespect for two top owners club members - I too have been subjected to abuse by the above company member so can totally sympathise.
