Double din tv units

David, can you reveal any info for fastening of the dash, or do you have a DIY for this job at all? I had shied away from removing the dash, but it seems that may be the easier route.

Thanks

With the dash out yes but with the dash in place not a hope in hell
If the dash is coming out and you need the centre section from a 2 Din dash then put the complete 2Din dash in the car
Only reason for swapping the centre section is if the 2Din dash had the airbag deployed

Yes thinking about it you can't move the vent pipes with the dash in I don't think. That is what I did with an airbag damaged 2din. You may get lucky and find somebody scrapping one though.

Yes, be methodical. Have plenty of tidy space to place everything. I use small sample-bags to put bolts, etc., into. They have a panel so that you can write and identify what's in the bag. Keep everywhere tidy! Finally there's a superb "Stanley" 1/4" flexible-drive device that gets you into difficult places. Get a large piece of rubber/foam to cushion your back when you have to lie in the passenger and driver's foot-well. If you were nearer, I would have really liked to have helped.
