Headlights growing moss

Hello
My 2001 1.4 petrol A2 has moss growing in both headlights
They are also very frosted
I've not been able to find any links re if it's possible/how to take them apart
I read there were 2 types- splitabke and non but I'm not too sure what mine are

Any info about how to remove them and split open for some gardening most appreciated!!

Post a picture of the top, could well be splitable from 2001, somebody will be able to tell.

The early cars like yours were normally splittable, the later cars were not.

But, maybe the previous owner may have changed the headlights, so don`t take the above as gospal, you need to take one out and have a look.

I finally got round to taking a photo of the headlights
Could anyone tell me if these are the splittable variety please ?
I'm guessing yes as they have clips around the outer frame
Are there any instructions on the site for removing the headlights ? And splitting them ? I had a quick search but didn't find anything yet.

Splittable headlights have those clips all the way around. If the clips are just on the top then they are the midway style they used.
