A couple of years ago I bought a heated windscreen from Ricky Evans Motorsport. They sell them for MK2 Golfs etc.
I did ask about the availability for none-listed cars and I believe they can do a limited run if there is enough interest. The windscreen does need fitting correctly (my local fitter didn't seal mine properly - there was more sealer on the inside of the rubber than the outside!

re A2, the edge needs priming on bonded screens. It was quite expensive to have fitted including the wiring but I had to pay for the wiring to be done for me.. I guess there are a few " bright sparks" on here who can do that for themselves.
