There are some benefits to being older! At 53, my A2's are about £180 each with 3 and 4 years no-claims respectively, on an Admiral multi-car policy with my Volvo. One of them has business use. When I was getting quotes to compare at my renewal recently I could get them about £10 cheaper, but I couldn't find a better price for the Volvo with full protected NCB. I could only save about £20 by splitting out to separate policies with higher excesses, and I would doubtless have had to change insurers again the following year, so I stayed on the multi-car.The benefit of being the right (in the insurers mind) side of 40 I suspect
