Wow, what another great event. A fabulous turn out, collection of A2s and their owners.
The weather blessed us all day, at times being too hot. The Kimbolton show is my favourite of the calendar and this year was another delight. Cars from all eras, an array of marques and in all states of condition and tune. Add in the stalls, live music and dancing, family fun activities and the complementary World War Two fly-past for a grand day out.
As always a big thanks to Mike and Vonnie for organising our club stand and for Kayleigh's surprise birthday cake - a very kind and humbling touch. Thanks to all those future Britain's got talent singers who joined in the birthday chorus too.
Thanks also to everyone who attended and for making the event that bit more special. I'm sorry if I didn't get around to talking to everyone, the day flew by. I know that I didn't get to speak with Pras for example, so apologies indeed.
I'll upload some photographs from the DSLR when I get chance. For now a quick couple from our car park monopoly pre- setting off for the show in true convoy style. The last picture is my son with his non-hyper inducing beverage.
P.S. if viewing on a tablet, you may need to click the image to get the full picture - I do like to enlarge the images, but nine times out of ten it chops the edge off.
