995 was for seats and Doors.
plus a bit off for cash and nae vat!

I showed them a pic of a factory red trim and said I want it a bit like that but I got a leather wheel already!

Thats seriously tempting Roy, and the work looks first class. Where are they based? Unfortunately my pennies will not stretch to this indulgence at the mo' :( Be interesting to get your feedback if you go for it re. finish and final price. Maybe next year :D
 
Their work certainly does look good - the only fault I can see is the wrinkling in the rear A2 headrest!

If I ever find a pair of recaro buckets, I'd have them do a recover in red leather to match the rest of Tanks interior.

the hgiher prices Leather trimmed A2's acheive,Im not fazed by the depreciation as people always seem to want to pay more for a car if it has it.
Corrados are the same,Leather is always a dream tick.
£400 for heated seats though
 
I just got a quote from them for seats, door cards and head rests, same as above, plus another £250 to re-trim the steering wheel, gearstick and handbrake.
They offer a pick-up and collect service too (Although at extra cost), and they'll need the car for 5 days to fit everything.

Who is going to take the plunge?! Maybe they'll do a group discount? I guess we'd need to evaluate how many people have rear bench vs. rear 2 seats as that'll presumably made a difference for any group discount?
 
By the way, they've got back to me with a group buy type discount for 5x cars - £900 for seats and door cards for cash. I'm sure there are at least 5x people looking for a leather retrim?

I doubt my budget will stretch to a retrim and an FSD upgrade this year, so which is it going to be?! Oh dear, dilemma time.

Temptation, temptation! ;)I'm gonna have to take a reality check methinks. Thats a good price and I'd love a retrim for Ada, but with this years mods costing a few quid and the Mrs on maternity leave, I think that leather and the FSD's will have to wait till 2010 at the earliest. :eek:
 
aah.. another tempting group-buy :D
I'm glad that I am on the other side of the Northsea this time. That makes it less difficult to resist this one.
So I'll stick with the FSD's :rolleyes:
