LED bulbs - would this work?

It might just be me, or perhaps it is just the different relay, but the click of the indicators is now clearer and slightly louder and that is great, mine seemed to be a tad too quiet.

As for a video, I am not sure that it would show any difference, apart from the more instant illumination, a bit subtle for a video.

Could just be that the cap off the top is missing. Or the relays inside your original one are different.

And I was interested in how bright your bulbs were compared to the ones I have.

Hi,

Both relays had no end cap, I don't think I have ever seen one with an end cap on.

The bulbs are definitely brighter than the original standard filament or "chrome" bulbs, especially the front, which were not that bright, but are now perfect.

One week in and they are still working really well.

The LED bulbs are definitely noticeably brighter than the standard bulbs, by a good margin.

So that is two benefits, lower drain and brighter bulbs!!!

The standard front indicators on the A2 tend to be pretty dim and so this is a welcome improvement.
