Men and motors video review

I often browse for A2 related images and videos as we no doubt all do.

I came across this old video review from Men and Motors which I hadn't seen previously (or at least the grey matter tells me I hadn't).

The A2 is pitched against the Smart Cabrio and the VW Beetle battling for top spot as an image car. A cheesy beginning, but worth persevering with just to see the glorious A2 in motion. An FSI too...

Sadly the A2 doesn't come out on top, the scoring was dubious at best, and we know better than most just what a great little package it is.

Yep - I worked on that show. Gary Shoefield the producer, was one of the guys who were behind the alien autopsy affair. He was a complete chancer as were most of the execs at the time, hence why the channel failed shortly after. And whatever became of Richard Hammond???

Not in the group test above though; the plaudits, wrongly IMHO, were awarded to the Beetle.
