This is excellent news for the longevity of the OSS A2s - well done Tony

Was the Mk2 OSS fitted to late production A2s? If so what date were they introduced? Is it possible to identify a Mk2 roof without disassembly?

As much as I would love to have a Opensky I was always put off knowing that should anything go wrong there would be additional costs and not knowing someone who knows how to deal with such matters was rather off putting. However, as usual this forum has proved to be an excellent point of resource and with great individuals with innovative ideas/minds.

Well, the next A2 I own will definitely be with a Opensky.(Hopefully)

Congratulations to both Timmus & chumsofmanutd for completing this project succesfully and sharing. Also to Hotstuff for starting such a venture which I’m sure will benefit many with A2's/Openskys or as Dan put it ”BrokenSkys” lol

MkII OpenSky was introduced after the A2's production run ended. As such, no A2s left the factory with a MkII system.
