Hi. I have just bought a 1.4 SE (Petrol), with 12 months MOT but a list of issues I need to fix. This was reflected in the price, and I knew what I was getting into.
So I apologise in advance for asking loads of newbie questions!

I'm in the same boat as a new member but everyone seems more than willing to say hi and help out. No better place to be ,,👍🏻
 
So far, with the help of this forum & YouTube, I've managed to:
Fix the blower motor : stuck motor and controls playing up
No heat : stuck flap & controls again
Petrol cap : stuck
Partially unplugged CCCU
Hidden tracking device! (Yes, really).
Still to do:
O2 sensor : needs fitting
New battery: on it's way
Driver's door window intermittent issues: replacement motor needs fitting
Broken Air vent: replace (got one)
Broken cup holder: replace (got one)
Fix funny noise: wheel bearing
Get remote locking working.

I've had the dash in pieces, had the floor up and got strange looks from the neighbours when I removed the bonnet (as you do).

I've had a ball. It's been years since I last did any of this. Got my car-mojo back

The amount of help I've had from this forum has been incredible - thanks, Guys!
 
@rasA2 Well spotted. It's a metal bracket to replace the crappy plastic one (apparently) on the OSS (which doesn't work).
Came with the car, along with a spare leather interior. (needs work), and a replacement motor for the drivers door window.
