Oldest Battery?

Where is the battery... must check it.... but I looked under the bonnet and it doesn't have one! hahaha

Also original Varta, fires first time, everytime and has for the last 15 years.

Yes, the batteries seem to last a LONG time, so much so that when there are starting problems (such as the starter turning over slowly or not at all) I ALWAYS check the main engine / starter motor earth point under the bonnet first, before I try a new battery or alternator. That has been the ONLY cause of a slow starter or non-functioning starter motor in all my years of A2 ownership.
