The lights look great!
I have been thinking about installing the same lights on my audi, which does not have fog lights as standard. How much does an aftermarket fog light cost, do you have a link? I need to figure out if its better to buy a fog light assembly and modify it like you did, or make something from the ground up. it depends on the price of the fog light. I have already bought the fog light grills, and im going to order the osram light soon.

the fog lights I bought for my car were made by TYC and I got them from eBay. I modified an existing A2 fog light as this would give me both a mounting bracket that fitted the car and also a front glass which matched the curve of the bumper. Using the front of the proper fog lights makes the installation look OEM.

The OSRAM lights have a flat front where as the place in the bumper where the flog lights are positioned is close to the edge as it curves round so the front plane is at an angle.
Another member here used old broken A2 fog lights as holders to provide a mounting bracket and removed the (broken) glass from the front of the A2 lights leaving the OSRAM units slightly recessed.
This would also look quite good, but would not have the added layer of protection that the extra glass would provide!

As the rear part of the fog light isn't used, a second hand A2 fog light could be used. It would not matter for example if the silvering is damaged as long as the structure is sound (none of the arms and lugs are broken).
