I have noticed in some areas of the UK that 'brought' is used as though it's synonymous with 'bought', when the rest of the country seems to know the two words mean totally different things.Brought it or bought It? ?
'Brought' is the past tense of 'bring'. 'Bought' is the past tense of 'buy'.
"I bought a car and then I brought it home."
Right, I doubt any of us will make friends by discussing spelling and grammar on a car forum, so I'm going to shut up before I start ranting about 'could of', 'would of', 'should of' and 'must of'.
Cheers,
Tom
