Question about rear cupholder

Audi Edinburgh are wrong then. It is a straightforward retrofit.

Try Stoke Audi, they should be able to post it to you. But I still think that you will not get the complete kit. I pressed the dealer quite hard about the two discontinued parts. If you have found some then great.

The discontinued parts are showing as none available. All other parts are available.

Picked up the bits from Audi Northampton today , managed to get all the parts apart from item 16 in the diagram. Going to try and find instructions on how to fit them . I have put pics of my cupholder and parts and roof rack on my " New bits for my A2 " post .

They have everything except for the two small parts needed for the screws that go into the seat mountings, but the cup holder is usable without them, but not quite as secure.

Was looking at the " How to " guide about the rear cupholder and I noticed you said that it can be fitted without the rear brackets but won't be secure. Can you explain exactly how I can do this ? Do I just attach the front bracket and clip it in ?

Pointless fact - The 2 small brackets that are no longer available were discontinued on 01/09/2010

Thanks

Yes I just used all of the other parts.
The unit is a snug fit anyway. The front clip is not very strong but it is strong enough to hold it in place under normal use.

There are two versions of the centre console shelf - part number 11. One has a slot on the right which can accommodate a switch or socket module. On the model with basic sat nav the control buttons and rotary encoder are fitted in the tray slot. The parts shown in this diagram as 11A and 11B are those for the model with telematics. 11B appears to be a socket to connect a FAX machine!

part 11a

part 11b
