Sachs shocksMy local garage has quoted me £495 for renewing the suspension front and rear. They are a very competent outfit but not A2 specialists. Sounds like a good deal to me. Is it a job better done by an A2 specialist?
Thanks in advance

Parts and Labour. Sachs shock absorbersIf you are doing the back end do replace the rear axle bushes.
Renewing the suspension is not a complicated job, assuming no nuts or bolts are seized! If that price is parts and Labour it seems reasonable depending on the quality of the replacement parts. They will not be using Audi parts though!
Mounts included. I have discovered them recently. It's a very calm garage. B& F is just too far for a job that can be done by any competent garage.Sounds a good deal to me! Double check the bits changing, is it top mounts too at front, and mounts at the back under wheel arches?
Audi had at least two OEM suppliers, Monroe and Sachs. The TT had Sachs from new and recently they were replaced with Sachs. As recommended by local indie.I would imagine they are pretty much like for like although Audi did fit Monroes to the A2,s from new.
