RIDICULOUS Car insurance!

Aparantly there are people out there that a more unlucky than others. I know.......it's crazy but it's how they evaluate risk.

When I am hiring people, if I get lots of CVs sent to me I throw half of them straight into the bin at random, Why? Simple, I don't want to employ unlucky people.

I just got off the phone with these. I was quite astonished to here that they will 'only' insure modified cars, they don't insure standard cars, so I told him give me a quote if I have the A2 remapped, and also give me a quote on my Audi A4 DTM as well, he went away then returned only to say they can't quote on both of my cars! they won't insure them. Never hear that one before!

Last one left to check is Chris knott, I rang them and was on hold for some minutes, then at 4:58 and a weary sounding woman told me that their computers are about to shut down in 1 minute and 30 sec's and they won't be able to help me tonight!.

Increasingly looking like 'I'll be back' to Direct line!

Insurance renewal time and AXA have put our fully comp policy up £25 despite having no claims in the year we've owned the A2. So I'm shopping around, and a cursory search on Go Compare shows a number of cheaper policies are available. Not all insurers are created equal however so I'm interested...
