TDI 90 Cambelt Snapped

Hi Haldunk,
Just wondering if you managed to do this as I’ve suffered a similar belt failure recently where a section of teeth have parted company with the belt.
On placing the locks in place everything looks to be inline.

Hi Keith, no I haven't got round to finishing this off yet as gave been super busy. The car is sitting in my work car park waiting to be put back together with a new cylinder head. The old one was obliterated, the bottom end and pistons all look ok though

Did you check the oil pump tensioner, chain and pullies? My car is currently in garage having mine assessed(hopefully changed). My A2 has full service history(varied) with timing belt, water pump and tensioners changed at 105k(genuine vw/audi parts used).
My Car has currently covered 125k. The kit i bought is Febi Timing Chain Kit Set Oil Pump Drive 43667. It is listed for both amf, bhc and atl engines. cost £141.51 off fleabay.
