The "not quite the Peak District tour"

Saturday 9th September. 11.30am to 4.30pm

We'll be meeting at "The Great British Car Journey" venue at Ambergate in the Peak District at 11.30am then at around 2.30pm we'll have a short drive out locally via Ogston North Reservoir to The Horse and Jockey public house with excellent food, outdoor seating and a good size car park.
We are being offered a discounted entry for over 20 members at £14 per person.
Parking at the venue is free. Entry into the venue is not compulsory but totally worth it.

Thanks Ian. Teresa did make me aware of the potential event in North Yorkshire but it hasn't appeared on the social calendar yet for that date.
I guess there is an opportunity to attend both, one or the other event.

It was initially entered for the first weekend (2nd/3rd) in September on the socials calendar, but TBC. Reviewing it, we decided it would be better the following weekend so weekend of the 9th/10th. The calendar post just hasn't been updated yet.

Now that the Spike memorial social in North Yorkshire is announced as a one-day event on the following day Sunday 10th, these two events dovetail nicely. Lynette & I are hoping to attend both.
