What is the part number for the larger (headlamp wash) washer bottle?

As my bottle has been compromised (see my blog), I'd like to upgrade to a greater capacity to save having to fill up the resevoir quite so regularly. I cannot find a part number on here for the larger bottle, nor on the German forum, nor on 7zap!

Can anyone help with either a part number for this, or else for one for another bottle that will do the job and be easy to fit? I add that last bit as a post on the German forum seemed to indicate an Audi A3 one might work (although no reference to which model).

Good Evening,

This thread also agrees.

Thanks Gentleman - it was late when I looked at 7zap and couldn't see it for some reason when I looked it up under 2004 model year.

Won't the larger bottle have a hole for the headlight washer pump? You may need to block that.

The size of the washer bottle on these does annoy me. Rather small... My Rover 827 Coupe has a mahoosive bottle.

I know. The rear glass was treated before it left the factory with a hydrophobic coating and if the car was dealer serviced "most" dealers retreated the rear glass during the service. The spoiler does serve a purpose - it prevents the road grim that gets sucked up behind the car in bad weather reaching the upper glass.

Yes, I have noticed that.

I believe Audi did not use Rain-X. Instead used this product....

Is there a more effective / long-lasting modern equivalent available now? Next time I was the car I like to have such a treatment to hand ready to apply.
