Where to buy the best Audi A2 car mats?

Yes, finally got round to picking them up.

The short answer is...they're not as good as the Audi ones. But we knew that anyway, and to be honest, I'm quite impressed for the price. It's a shame they aren't platinum (light grey), but they fit well, and use the original securing 'nipples' so won't move about (a massive annoyance for me). They come with a heel pad, which is also something I'm not a fan of, but I haven't noticed it yet so I think I can live with it.

Here are a couple of pictures of the front ones, forgive my dirty interior:

For £17 for a full set I can't pick any fault in them really. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271021278...749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT#vi-ilComp

If they had been the right colour I would have raved about them. Lucky for all you guys with nice dark interiors

Just contact Audi and Genuine mats are still available.

The fronts are £45 inc vat and the rears are £30 inc vat.

The original OEM rubber mats are NLA from Audi, at least in RHD. As you might expect, remaining ones in any reasonable condition are getting hard to come by and aren't cheap. You can still get aftermarket ones in the usual checkerplate pattern, there are various sellers online. I've got a set in one of mine which does the job perfectly well.

I always have rubber mats in mine...the original carpet ones are tucked away for safe keeping. I can highly recommend "Richbrook" rubber mats for A2,s. Not cheap but I've bought a couple of sets now and they are quality 👌

I agree about quality rubber mats. Word of caution though, the mats will hold moisture under them in the carpets. So if they get wet they do not dry out.
I try to remove the rubber masts at least once a month and leave the windows down a few inches to let air circulate inside the car and drive out any moisture in the carpets.

I find if you leave the climate control on all the time then this drying effect on the air inside the car eventually draws out such moisture under the mats @audifan

Your way is definitely preferable however!

My climate is on 365 days a year. I do find that by taking out the rubber mats the windscreen condensation is reduced in wet / winter weather.
You could be surprised at the amount of dampness under the mats and that is in a car that does not leak water into the cabin. The last thing you want is water to go down below the carpets into the compartments under the front footwells, equally if those compartments have been compromised by incorrect jacking in the past they could be getting water in through the damage and again the rubber floor mats preventing stopping at least some of that moisture from evaporating off.
