Which A2 Tdi - 75 or 90 bhp?

We’ve had our A2 for almost a year now and are glad we waited till the right one came along.
Before be bought her we had a good look round and did a bit of research. We had a chat with a local Audi Sealer and he said the 90 and the 75 bhp are the same engine they've just played with the ECU to up the power by 15bhp. I disagreed and said about a different turbo, pistons, compression ratio, disks all round etc & he said “nope it's just been chipped!!” This web site tells the whole story, from the previous threads I assume that you know most of it...........

It is also easier getting a standard 90bhp car insured than being honest and explaining that you have had your 75bhp A2 remapped increasing the power.
You are looking in all the right places, I am sure whichever A2 you decide on – you won’t be disappointed!
There is an ’04 A2 SE 90 on ebay from a dealer in Stafford but with almost 50k miles it seems a bit dear at £9,750.

I seem to being drawn to the Parklands one (lots of extras) and the ebay one with the red leather interior. Maybe I have a subliminal fetish for red cloth?
The guy who is selling the red leather one on ebay emailed me to say that these forums are a good place to learn about the A2! Must ask why he didn't put it in the 'For sale' section.
He also advises against the sport model due to the harsh ride, which, when I think about some of the roads I travel on, would make me discount any sport model (never mind the price).
