which oil for the petrol gearbox?

oil question again ....
what spec of oil do i use for gearbox?
done lots of searching but they only seem to mention the diesel models....
I'd recommend you buy the oil from a VW or Audi dealer. They normally ask for your chassis number so they can select the correct spec for your gearbox
