Yaw Rate Sensor replacement - What do I need?

Hypothetically, were the issue not to be the yaw sensor What do I look at next? Wheel sensors?
I'd run Basic Settings on the current yaw sensor, you never know your luck, and you'll need to, (should), do it when you fit the replacement anyway.
If you use the appropriate measuring blocks, you can see exactly what the sensor is doing. Does it sit at zero degrees on the level, does it move either side of zero with side to side movement of body?
Or is it dead ...
Mac.

Ok, so "new" sensor turned up today.

After a bit of a rigamorale getting the old one out (much easier to remove the connector if you first remove the plastic housing...) I got the new one fitted. I went in from the passenger side and the whole operation seemed relatively straightforward.
Once I'd buttoned everything back up I switched the car on and satisfyingly the electrical system didn't have an immediate melt down. So that was good. I then ran VCDS Lite and cleared the error codes. I then ran it again and was saddened to see:

These are exactly the same codes I had before. I cleared the codes again and took the car for a spin up the lane (hitting the dizzying heights of 40 mph. On my return, I ran VCDS Lite again and:

So I'm a little disappointed. Ideally I need someone to tell me that this is perfectly normal and I just need to do (insert simple, cheap fix that sorts this out) and then I can move on. I hope I haven't just waited ninety quid. Anyway, over to the A2OC Hivemind!
