Morning Paul,
That’s looks just right, we’ll done for having the vision to get it to where it is today. You must be very satisfied with the outcome.
Definite garage envy from me Sir.
Kind regards,
Tom
Morning Paul,
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the garage, it is indeed nirvana for the home mechanicMorning Paul,

Many thanks gills …very kind words .lI’ve just really enjoyed doing this one .The workmanship and attention to detail is amazing - well done! Pity the weather's not great to get out and enjoy it, but I'm sure it will be worth it when you do. Congratulations!
Well spotted edd …the bike is a tern model HSD S+…... the full suspension you see on the shelf is everything for my A2…when it needs it front and rear bilstein .. Meyle drop links..cast arms .,pair of discs and pads console bushes ..new bolts .. no one spotted the new bars on the old Bmw I had them bent up in stainless they copy the isds trials bike bars .. international six day trials.. much more comfy ride.. the Americans had a similar style on their old BMWs direct from factory.. without crossbar..I might do the next oldy. Bm in this style below note spare carb slide next to one fitted air cylinder for puncture spare cables routed ready .. no Speedo just a time clock..and high exhaust . Quick release wheels,.. these are rare and highly collectible. This early one belongs to a good friend..Wow yes, that sure looks like a properly engineered bike to ride and also simple to maintain. Looks a delight, of course it is yours so no doubt what so ever its beyond OEM perfect! Great suff.
Interesting bicycle in background on vertical stand, what is that?
Also I see you still havent the need for the suspension overhaul to an A2 !
Thankyou edd once an engineer always …it’s my way of relaxing to always have a project on the go ..and the crappy weather helps having something to do inside..Thought it was a tern from lower stays didn't want to embarrass myself! Can't help but be impressed by motorbike innovation and variety.
So agree to that..Thankyou edd once an engineer always …it’s my way of relaxing to always have a project on the go ..and the crappy weather helps having something to do inside..
These last two look borderline concours / museum specimens - incredible. Obviously this marks me out as not having 'an eye', but to a motorbike novice they are impressively pristine. My new r67 1951 just arrived .,what a gem .. it’s been stored in a friends house for the last 14 years .. I got it up on the ramp yesterday spent the day cleaning it ..so I’m just going through the whole Bike now changing all fluids clean out tank ..before starting her later in the week .... only room for one more, unless I take over parts of our house..
Thank you robin ..very kind ..i do use these old girls but in dry weather …the other two I don’t mind getting wet and muddy ..These last two look borderline concours / museum specimens - incredible. Obviously this marks me out as not having 'an eye', but to a motorbike novice they are impressively pristine.
