Audis in the park 2014 - no longer a world record attempt

I'm pretty sure that bolt of lightening hit my car as my alarm was the only one that went off and when I left all my warning lights came on and went into limp mode !!!!
Well, at least you had the most "striking" A2 at the show! I was still hoping to get there, right up to the night before .... I really missed seeing you Guys! Hey, I would have been really impressed with those huge, stunning multi-spoked wheels on one of the photo's! Wow, you can't miss those, can you? I'll look forward to any more pics ...

I think you may be right. It was the only one of the A2s that had the alarm triggered.

That is the closest I have been to a lightning strike.

Never a dull moment with the A2OC !!!

great pictures, hope everyone had a safe journey, was hoping to attend but dates crossed with work commitments, lightning strike "wow", anyone quick enough with the camera to catch that would be some picture with an a2 included.

I REALLY do like Mike's car. It really did stand out.

+1 for that. Hadn't seen decent pics of it before. The stance is just right.

Also like the black A2 with the dished BBS style wheels and chrome handles.

Great to see everyone today at aitp. A great show, even with the extreme weather! Look forward to seeing you at ADI.

Regards,

Paul.

We would have supported the event if we were not sunning ourselves in Switzerland...here's to ADI

I've noticed those chrome handle covers on Ebay listings, quite a while ago .... They seem to suit a darker-coloured car .... I think that I'll go for them, then .... Thanks for the input!

Not sure who's this A2 was but caught my eye, nice wheels too! ;)

It can only be "The Project" still work in progress but lipsmackingly good, Steve showed me the rear seat in alcantara, I told him to shut the door as didn't want the seat to get wet, I hope he didn't think I was being rude

This was a 1.2 litre A2 that made the journey over from Germany so I was told, it had super skinny tyres and was averaging over 100MPG on the way over WOW :D

I bought mine from eBay for £10.50 !!!!

They are definitely NOT everyone's cup of tea, but for £10.50 and two minutes to fit, I thought "why not" I can easily take them off again (which I might do)

I even bought two more sets, one for our Daughter's black A2 (as you say, they suit a dark car better) and I used an extra black small cover instead of the one with the key hole in it, so I can "lose" the key lock and yet still use that if I ever get a flat battery by just pulling it off!!
