Hallo from greece creta!
I have a 3l! a few days ago the engine did not start in position P, only in position N!
and the brake pedal indicator does not light up on the counter!

I solved the pressure unit and the slave!

and everything looks ok! I cleaned them and closed again!the pressure accumulator makes 3 gear changes before the pump starts!in vcds I have no faults! and the clutch setting is at 1.83 volts.can you tell me where and how i can buy a new pressure accumulator?

For the gearbox actuator and control unit spares are only available from Audi and VW agents. For the clutch actuator only a new potentiometer unit (actually a Hall sensor unit) is available from Mankmil on the German forum. Otherwise the clutch actuator should be considered a consumable unit.

If I understand your question, no air bleed is necessary after re-assembling and filling with hydraulic oil. Any air is absorbed by the oil because of the pressure. It is then released when the oil reaches the reservoir.

Hi!
If the system is only able to perform 3 shifts before the pump starts, the pressure accumulator should be replaced. Are you able to complete a full basic setting of the gearbox?

Yes!but styck to the searching!!and after start the engine putt gearstick D and the pedal gas no work!after 10 seconds the engine stop!

When you dismantled the gearbox actuator, did you re-assemble correctly? One part is on a spline and the workshop manual's instruction is not to dismantle that part as there is only one way to re-assemble correctly. It is inadvisable to do something like this without the appropriate instructions.

Also did you mark the gearbox actuator connections before removing the actuator?

I only opened the slave cylinder and the pressure unit! these work properly and the values in the vcds messures block 002 are 1.86v and 3.74v! the unit holds pressure correctly! this morning I opened the door and the pump did not move forward, it had booking pressure from yesterday!

Have you changed any O rings? If you have, only use Viton replacements. Nitrile is not compatible with synthetic hydraulic oil.

Is the 1.86v figure consistent, i.e. can you press the foot brake, release it and the figure returns immediately to 1.86v. The 3.74v figure is suspiciously low, suggesting that you have mechanical issues with the clutch. That you are stuck at the SEARCHNG stage also suggests the latter.

My next step is to take out the gear to see what condition the clutch is in! I also suspect the slave cylinder because a while ago we were shaking little!! Thanks very much for the information!!!!

after two days and the pressure in the hydraulic pump is not lost! good that! now i am waiting for the new clutch kit to come put it on to see if it will work!
