Hi all -
I've got a 2002 1.4 TDI A2 and just recently when I've got in and stuck the key in the ignition I'm getting four chimes.
I've only ever come across 3-chime warnings and I'm not getting any warning symbols on the dashboard. The chimes don't always sound, either. For instance today, when I first got in the car, it did the usual full system check, then showed OK, no chimes. When I returned to the car after a meeting it immediately made the four chimes, the moment the key was in the ignition.
For general information the car is running like a dream. It *did* flash up the 'minimum oil' warning a couple of weeks ago but i was able to stop and top up within a couple of hundred yards and that hasn't shown up again.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
DT.
