1.4 tdi engine replacement what fits

Hi just got a 1.4tdi that the engine is goosed
will the engine from polo 6n2 1.4 tdi fit
both are amf engines
does anyone know if it's a straight swap

Not quite a straight swap since the ancillaries would be different, but the base engine itself is the same.

So if you don't mind swapping a few bits and pieces, it will be fine.

The AMF code indicates the mechanical structure.

Thanks Steve that's what I thought don't mind changing a few bits
As I have a engine lying in a polo just need to take it out
