16" wheels...

I'm really, really tempted to drop down to 16s next spring.

The 17s look great, but I've already bashed two of them - so I'd like some 16s.

Any thoughts on the Fabia VRS alloys? They seem reasonably cheap on the 'bay and I think they'd look pretty cool.

I like my SE 16" wheels. On 195 tyres and FSDs, the car is almost passable as a good but firm ride.

Haven't looked at the VRS alloys, but if I was to get another set, it will be something very light, like 16" ultraleggera! Are these VRS alloys lighter than the SE 16"?

that was the other point. I think I need to swap the shocks out, which means Bilstein B6 (I cannot justify FSDs on the temperature count) and 15" or 16" would reduce unsprung weight considerably. I might be able to find a set of Team Dynamics 15s, but... well, if you have any sources and / or information, I'm all ears
