17" sport center caps

Quick question before i break something.


How do the center caps come off? Do they twist off or is it a screwdriver down the edge to pop them off?

One of my caps had a minor graze, probably from the Audi dealer when my new brakes were fitted :(



I picked up a new one from ebay for a few quid!
 
If its anything like the 16" wheels, there is a small hole in the centre cap. The removal tool hooks into this hole so the cap can be pulled off

Thats it, but most people prise them off with scredrivers and ruin the caps. The "tool" is a bit of bent wire in with the jack.

I have now fitted the new cap.
I also noticed one cap was loose so popped that off and found that the circlip was not fitted correctly by the dealer, and could have flown off down the road :eek:
