Ooops! I've noticed that Stuart has moved the info regarding the 2004 social gathering from the news section into the members only area following my post.
Sorry Stuart I didn't realise it was a members only event and discussion!! [21]

I meant to move it a while ago but forgot. I feel that socials need to be retained as a members benefit (besides Castle Coombe of course), it has always been listed as one of the benefits....
I have and always will welcome anyone (A2 owners and non owners) to join and use this forum as much as possible. But for A2 owners - if you consider the amount of work it takes myself and a handful of others to keep both sites running, I still feel that £10 is a very small price to pay for using this forum, accessing all the discounts/competitions, being kept informed of A2OC social events, having first view of the newsletter etc.
I hope the existing A2OC members agree with me on this.

That's fine I understand. However, new people are now no longer allowed to become a member due to the site closure as you know, and if you are intending to try and get 30 A2's to go for the last meeting you are considerably limiting your options, considering there are probably quite a number of new users like myself that have joined the forum since the members closure who would go.
I do however understand your reason behind this, so please don't think that this is a rant or moan.
Hope everyone involved enjoys a good day out.
