A2 Bike Rack

Hello to all the regulars. I've just bought a 2001 1.4 Tdi A2 and am looking at bits and pieces so will be on here asking (stupid) questions.

I've seen a picture on the net of a really nifty bike rack for the A2 - think it may even be an official audi one. Holds the bike at 45deg over the back window. Anyone know anything about it. I do have a normal rack which hooks over the back door, but am a bit scared to hook it onto the glass. Anyone done this? My other option is i suppose a 'vanilla' thule roofrack for the bike.

Hi Rich - welcome to the forum!

A quick suggestion that may help save time and duplication...
Click on the 'Search' link at the top right of this screen.

Once the search screen loads, in the 'Search for' box type in the word: bike
Select: Search in All Forums, Subject Only and select Archived Posts.

Hit the search button.

You'll find several previous and older topics all relating to bike racks for the A2.
