A2 engine management

my wifes A2's engine management light came on today and the engine revs
are being restricted like a protection system has been activated' there is also
a missed beat on the exhaust, any help would be appreciated
 
Hi Senva.

i also had this problem,after resetting the computer with Vagcom the issue was still there.

my VW and Audi machanic took off the Throttle body cleaned it good and replaced a new gaskit kit.
reset the computer and fingers crossed its been perfect eversince.

look at a good clean before big repairs.
