A2 passed MoT today but discovered lot of electrical glitches

The gearbox issue probably due to hydraulic fluid leak that left me without gears last week but topped up and she's running again.

Oil Sensor - this is the 3rd unit since new
Fuel Gauge - sender fault
Maybe these are all down to a poor earth on an Ally car?

I would tend to agree and start checking earth points. . The one behind the left hand head light is apparently a common point for failure so would be a good.place to start

Managed to fix most items on the VAGCOM list but still get intermittent Oil Sensor and now the car will not start with gearstick on STOP setting with foot on brake. If Lever moved to N it starts up fine.

Have run basic gear setting and clutch creep point.

Any thots?
 
I cleaned all earth points I could find around engine bay and front door pillars. Then ran VAGCOm and Cleared DTCs. Still have Oil Sensor intermittent earth and Auto HVAC does not com well and still no start in STOP setting.

Change the settings for the USB port to 8ms them the VAG com will work fine

The only time I had problems starting in STOP was after the local Audi garage had fitted a new clutch. It would not go into 1st either in STOP. Cured by a basic setting. Not sure how they achieved it.

Check the brake switch. You can start in neutral without pressing the brake pedal.
