Hi anyone else have issues with rear calipers sticking on the a2?

Thinking of replacing them, there was a problem with them on a3's and skoda where they done a kit so the caliper dosent stick and return? Do they do a kit for a2's

It is a common fault, but it is normally caused by the sliders on the calliper holder.

These are available on eBay and much cheaper than a calliper, if that is the cause (which it opften is)

I serviced my brakes yesterday as the rears were sticking ... I already had all the bits pins, discs & pads for all round But it was only the pins that had gone dry making them stick you would normally tell by the inner pad wearing a lot more than the outer..
they will always wear the inner more due to it being a sliding one piston calliper ......

I've recently resolved the issue with new handbrake cables; my pads-to-sliders were an 'easy-slide' but it was the cables holding-on
