Well it either fall off or someone has nabbed it.

Fortunatle its the duff one I broke whilest cleaning - snapped the red bit off..

My question is how do I get the sticky mess off?

Some petrol on a rag will take it off. Be carefull as petrol is carcinogenic. I'd polish the area after sticking on your new badge as the petrol will also strip any trace of polish from the paint.

Try a bit of elbow grease :eek:lol sorry, a bit of polish on a cloth will also help to remove it, or if you have any tar and glue remover

Cheers Phil

Try some clay if you have any

Tiny bit of swerve, but I'll bring it back on track! - My dad's Puggit Expert van has sticky marks on the panels where his signwriting was (he's retired now but keeping his faithful Pug!) I have choked myself with petrol and thinners trying to shift it but all to no avail. Theres quite a lot of the gooey stuff. What tips on this from the bodyshop guru?? :D
